Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These terms apply when you use our services. By agreeing to our services, you accept these terms.
2. Our Quotation
The quotation covers agreed services (excluding extra costs like taxes or duties). We may revise the price if there are delays, additional services, or changes in accessibility.
If you pay a £75 liability waiver fee, you will not incur any extra charges for delays waiting for keys. Without this fee, a charge of £15 per man, per hour will apply for delays after 1pm if the keys are provided on the same day. For example, if the keys arrive at 5pm, the cost for a two-man team would be an additional £120 (£15 x 2 men x 4 hours).
If the keys are not received by 6pm the same day, the move will incur an additional full day's charge at the same rate as the original removal cost. The move will then be rescheduled to our next available time, typically the following day.
3. Work Not Included
We do not offer the following services unless agreed in writing:
-
Flat-pack furniture assembly
-
Moving from inaccessible areas
These are not considered standard services.
We do dismantle and reassemble furniture, but this must be agreed upon and charged for before we provide a quote.
We do disconnect and reconnect washing machines and dishwashers as standard, but this will be at the client’s risk. We are not insured for water damage, so if you prefer, you may want to arrange and pay for a plumber to undertake this work. However, we are fully competent to carry out this task if you choose to proceed with us.
